Stay Connected

Stay Connected

A phone program for older adults

What Is Stay Connected?

Stay connected is a phone program that uses evidence-based strategies to reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, or mild depression symptoms in older adults experiencing isolation.

How Can Stay Connected Help?

Through behavioral activation, the use of screening tools, and assistance with urgent problems and concerns, those in the program will learn tools and have access to services to help improve overall wellbeing.

Why Is Stay Connected Important?

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, older adults have experienced higher levels of isolation. In addition to offering socialization with SJFS staff, this program can also offer resources to cope with stress and anxiety related to the isolation older adults are experiencing.

Cost

Free to Onondaga County Residents over 60.
