We Are Looking For Volunteers!

We have a plethora of volunteer experiences available here. We have people visiting one on one with residents within Menorah park, people working with Kosher meals on wheels, and others providing art classes to the public. We are willing to work with you and tailor a volunteer experience you will enjoy and look forward to every week. Please take a look at some of the opportunities we have at this time:

  • Canine Visits - register your well-trained and vaccinated 4-legged friend to join your visits
  • Teach or participate in a class at our Center for Healthy Living
  • Accompany residents on group trips to shopping, restaurants, the casino and more...
  • Bring nursing home residents to and from activities
  • Help with fling and paperwork in our office
  • Suggest a way you might help with your interests and talents

Contact Deborah Ellis, our volunteer coordinator, at x. 256 or ellisd@sjfs.org. She will work with you to create your custom volunteering experience. Community members, families, students of all ages, service and experiential learners, community service workers welcome!
